The idea of martial arts is about improvement; improving your skills, discipline, focus, fitness, and your quality of life. We here at Dae Han Martial Arts bring that idea to the forefront of our approach to every interaction with our students. Not only are you here to learn martial arts, but you are here to become the best version of yourself possible. To accomplish this, we follow certain precepts. One of these precepts is variety.

To become a great martial artist an individual must practice multiple disciplines. One of the most important aspects of a martial artist is to be well-rounded. Mastery over a single subject such as Taekwondo consists of many smaller components, such as mental discipline, skill acquisition, and physical prowess. Think of these three subjects as points at the bottom of a pyramid. You need a strong foundation in each of these in order to build your pyramid’s apex. What’s at the top of the pyramid? Mastery. Mastery of the art, body and mind.
