- 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do
Carmela Cirillo has been an Instructor at Dae Han Martial Arts since 2016. She began Tae Kwon Do eight years ago the age of eleven, and recently she started Hap Ki Do. Prior to joining Dae Han, Carmela was a gymnast for many years, eventually choosing to leave the sport at level 8 to try something new. She mainly works in the kids and family classes. Carmela has a very energetic and lively personality, which works well for teaching children. Carmela enjoys teaching children because they bring great energy to the class, and are always excited to learn.
Carmela is a student at Kennesaw State University. She is majoring in Linguistics, with a concentration in Critical Languages. She hopes to do study abroad programs to attain her degree, as well as have the chance to travel the world for pleasure. She doesn’t live on campus; she commutes to the college from her house. When Carmela isn’t at school or Dae Han, she likes to spend time with her friends. Carmela especially loves spending the day in Atlanta doing different activities and touring various restaurants. When she is home, most of her time is spent with her family and various animals. Carmela believes that hard work is the key to success and that the key to happiness is believing that there is good in everyone.
